999.9 (Four Nines) is a Japanese eyewear brand founded in 1995. The brand name derives from the number engraved on pure gold ingots: 999.9. In its original meaning, it indicates that “the gold has a purity of at least 999.9 parts per 1,000” — a mark of the highest-quality pure gold. In its craftsmanship, Four Nines pursues the possibility within that remaining 0.1 and strives for the highest level of quality. The name embodies the brand’s philosophy of continuously making efforts to come ever closer to perfection — to 1,000 — day after day. This commitment is reflected in everything that Four Nines creates.

A sharp look and a gentle fit. Fusing contrasting qualities into one, S-345T series features zig-zag temples that deliver a comfortably snug hold. With more sophisticated styling and reconstructed functionality, this series presents a fresh expression of Four Nines.

Product details

  • The zig-zag temples deliver an optimal hold through the flexibility of interconnected curves. Their distinctive design also creates an impression that shifts depending on the viewing angle.

  • An extended front bridge supports the rims from the front, while the rear bridge flexibly absorbs multi-directional stress. By keeping the front rigid and preventing reverse warping, it allows the zig-zag temples to perform at their best.

  • S-345T offers a polygonal square shape that pairs a clean look with distinct character. S-346T combines a high-set bridge with a signature Four Nines square profile. Both models feature balanced proportions designed for an easy, comfortable fit.
